League Coach's Report Rd 11 vs Claremont

The weekends game was a dissappointing result in the end but we certainly put Claremont under enormous pressure for most of the day.  We had our chances in the second quarter but missed 5 set shots which could have broken the game open and they got themselves back in the game.  I felt that overall we didn't have enough good players but looking at the stats at the end you would have thought we should have lost by about 15 goals.
We look forward immediately to Swans this week as it is another big challenge.  We had alot of guys back from injury in the reserves which was much needed match fitness - Brad Stevenson, Marty Smith, Jordy, Josh Watson and with Luke Newick playing his first (full) league game for the year we will only get better from here on in.

We are hopeful that Raph Stack, Jason Bristow and Rory Muller will all be back from injury this week, which gives us more options all over the ground.  We certainly don't take losing lightly but after a 3 week break and only 6 days until our next game we must move quick and get on with the job.
Look forward to a big crowd this week as it is Breast Cancer Foundation "purple bra" day at the club and we play for the Hayden Bunton Cup.
