League Coach's Report Rd 16 v Peel

The weekend’s game was always going to be a slog with the conditions but to come away with a 9 goal win was fantastic for the players. We were very pleased to have Des Headland back but for how long we don't know. Blake Broadhurst was again our main focus in attack and he continued his terrific form with 4 more goals.
Marty Smith is growing in confidence and kicked 3 of his own while Reece Blechynden, Allistair Pickett, Todd Richards, Des Headland and Chad Cossom all chipped in with 2 each thru the midfield. The backline remained steady all day and continually frustrated their opponents. Overall it was a satisfying victory and it makes this week’s game against West Perth probably the biggest challenge all year.
