Colts Coaches Report Round 13 Vs Swan Districts

Determination was the key to the victory on Saturday

Although getting off to a slow start the boys stuck with it and pulled together some good football when it counted in the second half to hit the lead and just hold on when the game was in the balance.

The pleasing thing about the day is that all our key indicators were met particularly with 89 tackles and 50+ handball receives.

At different time Swans were looking to run away with the game however an increased work rate is what got us over the line with many boys cramping up throughout the last quarter.

Special mentions to Ryan Smith who held down his position in the backline all day as well as Will Hunter up forward, Jon Lindsay for his attack on the football and Jess Carlon.

This week we face top position Perth which is set to be a very tough match considering all state 18s players will be available. This however will not effect our preparation and we are confident that if we stick to our plan and work hard for each other we can come out on top.
