GOLDS & Ladies Forum June Meeting Update
The June Monthly Meeting for Golds and the Ladies Forum was held in the Leederville Sports Bar & Functions Centre, with a good turnout of members enjoying the comradery of Subiaco’s Coterie Groups. Two new Gold Members were introduced at this meeting.
Our dinner guest speaker was Rob Thompson the CEO of WA Sports Federation.
Rob spoke on matters of interest relating to the “Sports Star of the Year” awards, concerns relating to the high cost of participating in junior sport (all codes) and the lack of planning for sporting grounds in new housing development areas.
These interesting topics combined with his cricket background on several levels was warmly received and acknowledged by members.
Guest Players
Max Walters, Ben Sokol and Tim Sutherland were introduced to members, each providing interesting details relating to their football history.

Special catering compliments the theme of the dinner.
A guest speaker will be in attendance (not Father Christmas) together with guest players.
Player of the Month (May) will be announced.
