Langer Heads To Goldfields
In a coup for Subiaco FC and the Goldfields region, former test opener and Australian cricket coach Justin Langer AM will be heading to Kalgoorlie for a Leadership Lunch on Sunday 30 July.
Hot off a trip from the UK for the initial three test matches of the Ashes series, Langer will not only speak about the cricket, but will present on some of his experinces in leadership drawing on his time as part of one of Australia's most successful cricket sides, coaching elite performance at both Australia and WA and currently sitting on the board of the West Coast Eagles.
Langer is currently the Subiaco Football Club's number one ticket holder and the Club's CEO and former shield player Peter Capes was keen to get Justin to Kalgoorlie, "Kalgoorlie and the Goldfields is part of the Subiaco zone and we are keen to present to the region of our intent to grow our presence in the the Goldfields. For us to do that we will need the local community and the key decision makers to come on that journey with us. Who better to help us draw a crowd then one of WA's favourite sons in the middle of an Ashes series."
The event is part of the Subi Means Business concept which is a business networking community based around the Subiaco Football Club. The Leadership Lunch is a corporate style event and is being supported by Drive Personnel and Worthy Parts.
