Colts Coaches Report - Round 6 vs West Perth
Saturday was a real heart stopper and for the boys to get over the line by a point was a real testament to their desire and willingness to never give in. West Perth were hungry for their first win and played a very commendable game of football.
There were two new additions to the Subiaco line up with one being Phil Scott who kicked three goals and was crucial in the victory. Other contributors included Robert Scantlebury, Josh Milani and Cody Enders who had 16 possessions in the second quarter and kicked the winning goal with only a minute to spare.
This week sees the league and reserves travel to Kalgoorlie and the colts play as curtain raiser to the West Coast v Carlton game against Peel. Peel beat Claremont in the colts a couple of weeks ago and are sure to be tough opponents as we aim to do something we have not done this year and go back to back.
